About Erika Derooy

My interest in nutrition stemmed from a love for science, athletics, and a desire to enrich the lives of others. I earned my Bachelor’s in Food Science and Human Nutrition from Washington State University and completed an Internship in Dietetics there as well. I now have over a decade of experience in nutrition counseling and have found a passion for taking a balanced approach to health. I specialize in a non-diet approach to weight and health management and nutrition for families and novice athletes. I believe in the possibility of a flexible, enjoyable, and nutritious eating plan and look forward to joining you on your journey!

Erika is so amazing. She made me feel comfortable immediately. Never judged me. Tailored the plan to me and my busy schedule. Answered all my questions and really helped me come up with a plan that fit me and my lifestyle. She is SO kind and warm and I would refer her to ANYONE needing any guidance and help in their health/diet journey.
