Hello, I'm Erika. I’m a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who helps women break free from patterns of overthinking, self doubt, and losing themselves in relationships. Many of the women I work with struggle with relationship anxiety, people pleasing, fear of abandonment, difficulty setting boundaries without guilt, or feeling emotionally consumed by relationships while appearing high functioning on the outside. As a Latina therapist, I also understand the cultural and relational pressures many women carry silently around relationships, family, success, and where they “should” be in life. Together, we’ll explore your past and present experiences, as well as relationship dynamics that may be keeping you stuck or repeating unhealthy patterns.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is attachment-informed and relational. I tailor my services to each individual client and their specific needs and goals. Working with me feels supportive and non-judgmental. I strive to create a space where you can be your authentic self without having to hold back. I believe therapy should feel both meaningful and human. While we do deep, important work, I also bring care and humor (when appropriate) into sessions so the process doesn't feel heavy or intimidating.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I provide in person sessions in Hermosa Beach and virtual sessions (California and Florida). I draw from a variety of modalities CBT, solution focused, Attachment based, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, and Gottman Method.
