About Dr. Erin Kil
Dr. Erin Kil is a board-certified dermatologist and the owner and founder of New Bloom Dermatology. As a native of New York, she understands the challenges of living in this city and its effects on our skin. She has performed skin checks at the New York Stock Exchange and educated models from Next, a prominent modeling agency, to maintain their skin during Fashion Week. She has also cared for patients on medical missions trips in Peru, Vietnam, and Guatemala. As a result of her diverse experience, Dr. Kil has successfully treated all skin types.
Dr. Kil graduated from Brown University and received her medical degree at New York Medical College. She subsequently completed her dermatology training at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Kil worked at Tribeca Skin Center for eleven years and during that time, she was named Castle Connolly Top Doctors in New York and New York Super Doctors. Dr. Kil is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai Hospital and has received two excellence-in-teaching awards for her work in the Dermatology Resident’s Cosmetic Clinic. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

As required I arrived 15 minutes in advance of my appt time to provide copay and complete an additional form. I waited 25 minutes beyond my scheduled time, 40 minutes total, to be called in. I spoke to the assistant for a minute to explain why I was here (specific skin issue + seeking counsel on how to prevent signs of aging). She thanked me and told me to wait for the doctor. The doc had me describe my issue (which is on my face), and did not touch or examine my skin at all. She explained it was stress related, provided prescriptions for 5 meds. I asked 3 times to indicate which medication was meant to provide which effect/resolution, and she would not write down and told me to just review the names. I followed up to ask if there was any advise on my other concern (general anti aging) and she said that if she gives me advise I'll simply go to a medspa to seek the services outside of her office so I'd need to make a deposit before seeking that consultation. Worst derm experience ever.

Well organized office. I had to make time during work for my visit and appreciated the short wait time and efficient check in procedure. Nice space, relatively easy to get to by train and staff was pleasant. Overall good experience and I'll return in the future.

The Doctor was very straightforward and informative. She answered all my questions and was fat more helpful than other dermatologists I have worked with. In fact, she was candid the best way to deal with my issue was to adopt lifestyle changes rather than any fancy procedures.

I’ve been going to see Dr. Kil for three years now. I initially went for an allergic flare up that was so painful. Dr. Kil helped me with an acute problem and also addressed my long term goals. I love her office, the staff are wonderfully kind and Dr. Kil herself is fantastic. My appointments are always quick and efficient, but I never feel rushed. I recommend her to all of my friends.
