About Erin Kopeny

Erin Kopeny joined Womancare in 2020 and brings over 24 years of experience in internal medicine and women’s health to our practice. Along with her daily clinic in Arlington Heights, she is also an adjunct faculty member at Midwestern University in Downers Grove and enjoys mentoring students aspiring to join the medical profession. Erin’s clinical career spans from acute care medicine through all aspects of adolescent and adult health. She performs office based gynecology procedures, IUD insertion, annual physicals and with her internal medicine background she can help guide your medical decision making in many facets of your overall care, from adolescence through family planning, menopause and beyond. She is a certified health coach and has post-graduate training and expertise in nutrition, weight loss and digestive health. She attended UCSB for her undergraduate studies and then attended Midwestern University in Downers Grove for her medical training where she earned her Master's Degree. Erin is originally from Santa Barbara, California, but has lived in Arlington Heights for over 20 years with her husband, two college-aged daughters and two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. She enjoys beach vacations, water sports, cooking, hiking and celebrating the great things that life has to offer.
