About Dr. Erin Roberts
Dr. Erin Roberts is a double board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon serving patients in Denton, TX at Dermatology & Skin Cancer Surgery Center. She provides comprehensive care across medical, surgical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology, with a special focus on the prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancer.
Dr. Roberts earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago. She completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Chicago and a dermatology residency at Mayo Clinic. She also holds micrographic dermatologic surgery certification from the American Board of Dermatology and has advanced training in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

We have had all our medical people retire...Dentist, Dermatologist, MD, (even Oral Surgeon that did implants. Does work part time if he needs to replace a new car..)
We recently moved here to be near grandchildren. And, yes, we also like our children....
We have found new younger professional health care providers to watch over us.
full disclosure...lots of people on the planet are younger then us..
I was treated professionally. All my questions and concerns were dealt with in depth.
Dr. Roberts and I will meet again in 4 months...at my age it was nice of her to make an appointment that far out...
We have recommended her to neighbors. (and if you read this, to you too)
Be advised there are no pastries or lattes in the waiting room....

Dr Roberts conducted a thorough exam, diagnosed a chronic skin disease, explained what’s known about causation and treatment. Set out a clear plan to address a painful and likely enduring medical problem. She was empathetic, realistic, and explained next steps clearly and at length. Answered questions without making me feel I was exceeding my appt time.
I initially saw another dermatologist a few weeks prior. That physician was abrupt, dismissive, didn’t provide a treatment plan, and left me with many questions and little hope someone was “on my side” medically. It had been the antithesis of a satisfactory physician visit.
Dr. Roberts was booked for a second opinion. She was superb. So glad I didn’t give up and found a physician as knowledgeable and caring as Dr Roberts.
I was especially impressed with how she was totally at ease with a “we are partners in improving your disease” approach. She asked what I thought and presented options.
10/10 experience! Thanks, Dr Roberts!

My experience was really good, and everything went according to plan. I like the doctor. My name got called right as my appointment time came up. One of the women at the desk who helped me when I first walked in was not particularly a ray of sunshine, but she did her job. Overall, I was happy with my experience.
