Getting to know Erin Thompson
I started out in Family Practice as an APRN for almost five years and fell in love with mental health. I have been a certified PMHNP since 2020. I treat patients aged 5 and up, providing care across the lifespan.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I encourage your thoughts when deciding a treatment plan. I want to know what works best for you so I can get you to where you want to be as soon as I can.
I would like to have open communication so that you are comfortable telling me exactly how you feel. That is the best approach to make sure we are staying on track with the treatment plan.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
After booking an initial assessment with me, you will be asked to register with my Headway platform or my assistant will enter this information for you - this includes your name, DOB, phone number, email address, and insurance information.
I use the Headway platform in order to bill insurance. For self-pay clients, I request payment at the time of booking via PayPal or Venmo or we can charge your credit card on file.
You will receive an email and a phone call from one of our lovely assistants (Mary or Ela), asking you to sign a consent to treat form and enter a method of payment on Headway in case of co-pay. Please check your spam folder as well.
I accept the following insurance panels for the state of OH -

Anthem BCBS
Clients who do not cancel an appointment less than 24 hours in advance, or who do not show up for their appointment within 15 min of the appointment time, are charged a $125 no show fee.
We do no accept Medicaid or Medicare at this time.
