Dr. Erin Torres, DNP, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Cincinnati in August 2022. She has been a practicing NP since graduating with her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in May 2014 with honors. Dr. Torres was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau nursing honors society both as an undergraduate and graduate nurse. She has been a registered nurse since earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Hampton University in 2002. With over 20 years of nursing experience, Dr. Torres has focused on psychiatric nursing, working in diverse settings including emergency care, inpatient, residential, and most recently in research involving children with an extra sex chromosome. She practices holistic treatment, advising and encouraging her clients to reach their greatest potential. Dr. Torres specializes in treating children and adolescents with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, and anxiety. She also provides care for young adults and adults from multiple diverse backgrounds. A native of Maryland, Dr. Torres is dedicated to supporting and serving individuals in her community and surrounding areas. In her free time, Dr. Torres enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports, cooking, and dancing.
