“My experience was great. I arrived 15 minutes early to check in and a nurse let me in right on time for my appointment. While the nurse was going to lead me to the x-ray room, I asked to be seen by the doctor first before any scan. This was no problem at all. After a brief check-up, the doctor met me to look at my ankle and recommended an x-ray which I was able to get done very quickly on site. When I asked if the x-ray would be covered by my insurance, the staff helped me get in touch with my insurance carrier so I could get an answer. The doctor met me again right after my x-ray and explained the cause of my discomfort. He was very kind, clear, and offered to hop on a call in a few weeks to check on my ankle without me necessarily having to go back for a full appointment unless my ankle was very painful. The staff was very kind, responsive and the location was very clean and welcoming. ”

About Dr. Ernest Megdanis

Dr. Ernest Megdanis received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Stoneybrook with honors in senior design. After deciding to pursue a career in medicine, he returned to school at the New York College of Podiatry where he graduated with Honors. He completed his podiatric surgical residency in 1991 at NY Methodist Hospital, where he is now Associate Chief of Podiatry.
