Eryka has worked in the field of special needs since 2009. She started as a soccer coach for children with disabilities, then became a special ed aide in the schools, followed by a Registered Behavior Technician, later became a Speech Langague Pathologist Assistant, and is now an SLP. Eryka is very passionate about her career. She was initially inspired to pursue her passion when she directly encountered the benefits of speech therapy with two of her younger siblings who are autistic. The improvements her siblings made felt like a miracle! Ever since, she wanted to make an impact on families, similar to the way her family was impacted. She started her private practice here in Hemet to address the dire need of support within our community and attempt to make a difference. As she always says, “I am here to serve the underserved”. When she is not working, you can find her hiking with her daughter and dogs, volunteering at church, or spending a relaxing day with her family at the nearest campsite.
