As a seasoned Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I'm here to help. With a strong foundation in nursing and extensive experience in various clinical settings, including ER, med-surg, women's health, and inpatient psychiatry, I've developed a unique understanding of the complexities of mental health.
I hold an Associate Degree in Nursing (2010), a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University (2018), and a Master of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certificate from Walden University (2022). I'm currently a doctoral candidate in Executive Leadership at Walden University, Minneapolis. For the past three years, I've been dedicated to providing compassionate care in the outpatient setting, offering both in-person and virtual psychiatric evaluations, supportive therapy, psychoeducation and medication management across the lifespan.
My therapeutic philosophy is centered around empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practice. I believe in empowering patients to take an active role in their mental health journey, fostering a safe and non-judgmental space for open discussion, and tailoring treatment plans to meet individual needs.
My ideal clients are individuals, adolescents, and families seeking support for mental health challenges such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, and more.
