My name is Esther Morgan Nkwanyuo. I hold a master's degree in nursing. I’m a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner in the state of Texas. I have 17 years of nursing experience in various fields of nursing. I’m a world traveler and I speak Italian fluently. I love learning about different cultures and trying out new foods. Whatever I do in life, God always comes first.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I treat my client using a holistic based approach. These individuals are already struggling with a mental health condition and what is needed is a provider with empathy, patience, and knowledge. My clients, are an integral part of their treatment plan. We work as a team with my help and guidance to come up with a treatment that is more suitable and tailored to their needs. During our session, I also use CBT to help you take a close look at your thoughts and emotions. Helping one understand how their thoughts affect one's actions. Through CBT, my clients can unlearn negative thoughts and behaviors and learn to adopt healthier thinking patterns and habits.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we start out with a brief introduction, getting a history of the current situation, we set out acceptable and workable expectations tailored to the client. This helps us have a road map as we work together as a team.
