I am a dedicated and experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner with a proven track record of providing compassionate and specialized care. My journey in healthcare began over two decades ago at Genesis Elder Care, where I honed my skills as a registered nurse. With a solid foundation, I transitioned to Christiana Care Health System, where I spent a significant part of my career. For nearly twelve years, I served as a pulmonary step-down RN, ensuring the well-being of patients with complex respiratory needs. Subsequently, I embraced the fast-paced environment of the emergency room, contributing over six years as an Emergency Room RN, making critical decisions and providing swift and effective care. Throughout my extensive 16-year tenure at Christiana Care, I've continually evolved and grown in my role. I earned a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Walden University, which equipped me with advanced skills to better serve my patients. Currently, as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of patient care to my practice. My multifaceted background allows me to approach mental health with a holistic perspective, addressing both the psychological and physical well-being of my patients. What should a new client know about working with you?
Hi, I am a Board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner based in Newark, DE. I received my associate degree in nursing from Deltech in 2004, my bachelor's degree from Wilmington University in 2009, and my master's degree in nursing leadership from Wilmington University in 2014. I also hold a post-master's certificate in psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from Walden University and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University. I have worked as a psychiatric Np for over 3 years with experience in crisis in an ER department in Chester, substance abuse centers, and outpatient services. Currently pursuing my Doctor of Nurse Practice through Frontier Nursing University. I am passionate about helping my clients who are struggling with a variety of mental illnesses.

Get to know the patient, build the rapport, listen to the patient and make sure the patients are comfortable and answer all their questions
