About Dr. Esther Russell

Born in Duluth and raised in Alpharetta, Georgia, Dr. Esther Russell has built her career on a lifelong passion for helping others. She began her nursing journey at Georgia Perimeter College, earning her Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), and went on to complete her Bachelor, Master, and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees at Brenau University.
Dr. Russell worked for nine years as a Labor and Delivery nurse before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, a role she has embraced for over a decade. Coming from a family of medical professionals, she was inspired to pursue the FNP path so she could make an even greater impact on her patients’ lives through comprehensive, long-term care.
Outside of work, Dr. Russell enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She lives in Dawsonville, Georgia, with her husband, two daughters, one son, and their lively household that includes two dogs and three cats.

This was my first time booking an appointment with this office. I was greeted with a friendly welcome immediately upon entering the door. The office was neat and clean and my wait time was short and sweet. The doctor listened to my concerns, was knowledgeable, and kind. I would definitely return for treatment!

Doctor is mentioned as Heartburn and reflex for kids. But during the visit they clearly stated this is not the place for kids heartburn and reflex. Very disappointing and made us helpless. Zocdoc please have right category and doctors don’t play with lives.

I have a pretty complicated history and she listened to me and made me feel very comfortable and helped to find the best path forward for me with my not very great insurance and life complications.
