Promote psychotherapy as an adjunctive treatment with medication management. Promote continuity of care and prevent symptom decompensation. Educating on coping strategies and community support. The individual will understand how we arrive at their diagnosis and the medication treatment plan. Understand benefits, risks, potential side effects, reactions, FDA warning, and Blackbox warning. Support individual autonomy and shared decision-making.
