I am passionate about educating individuals about treatment options using evidence-based practice to empower them to make the best treatment decisions. I practice patient-centered care and a nonjudgmental approach. I conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation at the initial visit with integrated psychoeducation and lifestyle interventions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

At every appointment, the individual will understand how we arrive at their diagnosis/diagnoses, the medication treatment options, and the treatment plan. The individual will understand the potential benefits and risks of treatment, side effects, reactions, FDA warnings, and Black Box warnings for prescribed medications. The individual will be able to identify potential medication side effects or reactions and to seek immediate medical and/or psychiatric care for worsening or acute symptoms. The individual will understand how to utilize emergency numbers as needed.
