Getting to know Eugene Furnace
I provide personalized and focused men's health that optimizes medication with adjunctive solution-focused therapy to move guys towards their health goals.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My process is catered to the unique challenges we face as men. I maintain a solution-focused, goal-oriented approach that maximizes our time in each appointment.
We start with getting to know each other. Establishing a trusting relationship is key to effective professional mental health. I am forward and honest with you about diagnosis and treatment options, and you are forward and honest with me about your experiences (symptoms) and challenges to achieving your goals. Once we have a plan in place, we follow it with flexibility in mind knowing that life happens and things change.
With progress we move to more time between appointments, and you always have the option to schedule an appointment as needed. I endeavor to maintain a certain caseload so I remain accessible to the guys I serve.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
We work together to optimize medication and add talk therapy as needed to help gain different perspectives, ideas, and solutions to personal, relationship, family, work, school, and other situations.

Dr. Furnace was a great person to talk to. He was laid back, easy going, and understanding but honest when he needed to be. If I am ever in need of therapy again I would like to visit with him again.

Dr. Furnace asked all the right questions, is extremely professional, was very thorough and has a warm demeanor. I appreciated the options given as well as treating my wellness as a whole person, not just medically. It is clear he wants his patients health to improve along with quality of life. Dr. Furnace goes above and beyond to create a plan of care that is right for the individual. I was beyond impressed and will refer him to all my friends and family who are looking for a provider that is current and well versed with the latest research while assessing unique needs to provide the most personal care.
