“Dr. Wang was fantastic. We arrived 15 minutes early, and the waiting area was empty. However, the receptionist spent about 30 minutes verifying the insurance. After that, we were made to wait while three other patients were seen before us, even though we had arrived early for our scheduled appointment. In total, we waited over an hour. I understand that some waiting is expected, but I made an appointment and arrived on time as instructed.”

About Dr. Eugene Whang
Dr. Eugene Whang is a board certified dermatologist who has provided comprehensive skin care at Dermatology and Surgery Associates since 1998. He is on staff as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Dermatology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine as well as Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Whang received his medical degree from the George Washington School of Medicine, where he was awarded the Alec Horowitz Memorial Fund and was elected to membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha national honor society. After medical school, he completed an internship in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and continued on to residency training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he served as chief resident during his final year.
During his training, Dr. Whang has done research at the George Washington School of Medicine as well as the National Institutes of Health, and his work has been published in medical journals. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and is certified by both the American Board of Dermatology and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Whang has been named as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor each year since 2018.

The Receptionists were pleasant and professional. The office is very spacious and clean with a nice vibe . Dr. Whang was wonderful. He’s very approachable and attentive. I didn’t felt rush when I was explaining my symptoms and Dr. Whang really listened . He was in the moment and very engaging with me . My rash is already improving and I’m relieved of the itching. Dr Whang was very competent, pleasant and good in communicating about my condition. He also treated my condition to the extent possible on this first visit, and took samples for biopsy just to make sure. He said a follow-up
