About Dr. Evan N. Berman
Evan Berman, MD holds a medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Nassau County Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Following his residency, he completed fellowship training in surgical critical care at Westchester County Medical Center, Valhalla, NY. Dr. Berman is Board Certified by the America Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Berman has various specialties, including laparoscopic, breast and general surgery with clinical interests in acute care and abdominal wall surgery. He does not do cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Berman joined Symphony Medical, PC in 2017, where he brings over 40 years of experience in the medical field. Prior to working at Symphony Medical, PC he worked at a large multi-specialty group in Queens, NY. He speaks fluent English and Spanish and serves the culturally diverse community at St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, NY.

Terrible experience with this Doctor. Just came out of his office and he was all over my face harassing me. He was rude and inpatient with me. Why take new patients if he can't be respectful and patient. Did not care about my medical history he was more concerned about why and where I was coming from. He is not professional. I would never recommend this Doctor for any type of condition. Maybe he is hiding something from his pass that scares him.

Literally the best doctor I have seen in my 32 years on this earth. Office wait time can be a pain but I promise he’s worth it. He will talk to you and address every concern you have and give his honest opinion, not just what you want to hear !!! Wish he could be my PCP.
