About Evelyn George
Evelyn George, Family Nurse Practitioner, received her Master's degree in Family Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Nursing in Houston, TX, in 2018. She practiced nursing for nine years before returning to school to advance her education. Since earning her Master's, George has been actively practicing as a family nurse practitioner and has returned to MyCHN. She works with patients of all ages, providing care for both chronic and acute medical conditions. George is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Houston Area Nurse Practitioners, and Texas Nurse Practitioners. She believes in delivering quality, patient-centered, whole-person care and is a proud recipient of the Shining Star Award at MyCHN.

Have the flu filtering through my household. Scheduled appointment due to feeling symptoms as well. Was told to take allergy medicine. Later that night had a full blown fever and had to find a different doctor to help. Complete waste of my time and money.

Loved zoc doc 1st time trying and it was absolutely stress-free, Dr.George was so professional and quick with everything that I had questions on. Didn’t take longer than 15 mins and I really hate waiting or getting asked too many questions. Simple, quick and easy, thank you. Definitely will be recommending family

I was supposed to see Evelyn George but she rescheduled or was a no show so I had to see another doctor, Dr Lorena Hall. So I never talked to or had an appointment with Evelyn George.

Did not reach out to me had me waiting and called to check for the link they were not even aware that I was on the schedule supposedly and lied about giving me a call back and did not ! Waste of time would not recommend!!

She was very kind, understanding, and explained what was happening very well. She had also took the time to explain the medication she was prescribing me, the staff I spoke with that helped me check in and ensure everything was going to be smooth is also 5 stars.
I was having a lot of problems trying to find a provider that takes medicare and medicaid, I'm very happy that I found Zocdoc.

It took a couple of months a multiple calls to get a referral sent out. Then, to get that referral corrected and sent out again. I had to call multiple times and keep waiting, and I'm actually still waiting! It may be a specific department, but it shouldn't be hard to fax over a referral. Something needs to change.
