Getting to know Faith Ekpo

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I provide a supportive, structured, and collaborative space where you can feel heard and understood. I work with preteens, adolescents, young adults, and older adults, I specialize in treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), adjustment disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), mood disorder etc. My approach integrates medication management with psychotherapy and individualized therapeutic interventions to support each client’s unique needs and goals. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, or other challenges, my goal is to help you feel more balanced, empowered, and equipped with the tools you need to thrive.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My style is warm, direct, and nonjudgmental. I believe in meeting you where you are while also gently challenging patterns that may be holding you back. I use an evidence-based approach, often incorporating techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), supportive therapy, and solution-focused therapy. During our first session, I will take time to get to know you. I’ll complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, which includes discussing your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, lifestyle, and goals for treatment. This helps me form an accurate diagnosis and develop a personalized treatment plan with you.
