About Faith Flaherty

Hi there! I'm Faith, a licensed registered dietitian and founder of The Bariatric Nutritionist. I specialize in treating adults with overweight and obesity. I earned my Bachelor's degree and Master's in Nutrition from Graceland University. I bring to my practice over 6 years of experience working with clients facing various health conditions at one of the largest medical and surgical weight loss centers in Chicago. I have had the pleasure of helping thousands of patients renew their health, wellness, and confidence. When I'm not working with my clients, I am usually reading, cooking, or walking my Westie sidekick, Leo! I believe the process of nutrition therapy is a collaborative journey between client and dietitian-nutritionist. Together, we set evidence-based action goals each session to move toward better wellness. I pride myself on using a therapeutic style that is warm and empathetic. Using a personalized, habits-based approach, I help my clients navigate obstacles standing in the way of achieving their wellness goals.
