I’m Faith Kirirah, a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) committed to providing individualized, compassionate, evidence based, and holistic care dedicated to your overall well-being. I specialize in assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric conditions across the lifespan from depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, substance use disorders and more. I strive to normalize mental health struggles and I provide a safe, non-judgmental, welcoming space.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My specialties include treating psychiatric conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and trauma-related conditions across the lifespan. I integrate cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI) techniques into my practice, offering both medication management and therapeutic interventions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Your safety is our priority. I provide medications as indicated for your symptoms and monitor you closely to ensure success with your treatment plan. Regula follow/up visits allows me to monitor your response to medications, manage any side effects and make adjustments as needed. In some situations, I may recommend separate counselling services as indicated. I am open and interested in working closely with therapist, your primary care provider and any other practitioners to coordinate your care and give you the best care possible.

Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay
