What should a new client know about working with you?

Please note, we are out-of-network provider and don't accept insurance; however, we will provide you with a superbill that you can provide to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. What sets us apart is our Physician-Scientist approach to mental health. While many practices rely on standard prescribing or high-volume 'med-checks,' we bridge the gap between clinical psychiatry and the latest breakthroughs in neuroscience, genomics, and metabolism. We offer a unified model that integrates advanced psychopharmacology with targeted psychotherapy. We don't just ask how you feel; we look at how your brain and body function at a cellular level. By analyzing your biomarkers and genetic blueprint, we provide a precision roadmap to healing that is as unique as your DNA. For patients with ADHD, Dr. Lohoff requires neuropsychological testing by clinical psychologist before prescribing stimulants. If you have testing documented, please bring this to your first appointment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We do not accept insurance and are fee for service providers. However, many insurance policies have an out-of-network benefit, which typically reimburses you for a portion of your payment. My office manager can provide guidance with this process. Please call our office for more information. Working with us is a high-touch, collaborative partnership. We blend the deep empathy of traditional care with a sophisticated, data-driven perspective. You can expect sessions that are intellectually engaging and clinically rigorous, yet deeply human. We don't just focus on the 'what'; we dive into the 'why' by integrating your unique neurobiology and biomarkers into our work. You are provided a 'brave space' for honest exploration, supported by a steady professional presence and a commitment to the highest standard of concierge psychiatric care.
