Getting to know Fallon Shelton
I bring with me a unique set of work experiences that have fostered my passion for helping those who suffer from mental health disorders. My own personal experiences and past employment endeavors have given me the empathy needed to support patients with mental health challenges. As a graduate of Walden University with a Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, I am committed to advocating for patients who struggle to be heard or respected. In my role as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I manage treatment with compassion, understanding, and a focus on holistic care. I will do all I can to assist individuals and their families in recognizing, without stigma, the value of psychiatric assistance.
What should a new client know about working with you?
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I am able to treat mental health issues across all ages. I have worked in various healthcare settings with many different types of patients: out-patient settings, in-patient treatment, acute psychiatric settings, substance abuse patients, and developmentally disabled patients.
Every experience that put me on this path has shaped my passion and dedication to psychiatric nursing. I’ve seen people unfairly neglected by professionals with the power and knowledge to help them, which has made me determined to make a difference in their lives as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
