About Dr. Farah Alani
Dr. Alani received her degree from Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, IL, in 2011, where she was awarded a Health Service Award for her professional contributions to rural clinics in Mexico. Dr. Alani completed her residency in NYC and in Newport Beach, CA where she received extensive training in all facets of foot and ankle medicine and surgery with an emphasis on cosmetic and minimally invasive surgery. She also trained with the pioneer of cryosurgery and now specializes in the non-invasive treatment of painful neuromas using cryoneuroablation.
Focusing on exceptional outcomes, Dr. Alani takes pride in providing her patients with the most cutting-edge treatments. Dr. Alani has a passion for diagnosing and treating athletes and is especially adept at treating runners, skiers, and dancers as she enjoys those activities in her personal life. She specializes in both conservative and surgical treatment of the foot and ankle including bunion and hammertoe correction, tendon debridement (Tenex/Tenjet) and surgical management of arthritic and sports-related injuries.
More recently, she has been focused on regenerative medicine using PRP to heal the body without surgical intervention.
Dr. Alani is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the New York State Podiatric Medical Association, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. Dr. Alani is fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Kutchi/ Gujarati.
