Getting to know Farah Khuzouz

We all interpret reality in different ways. We are constantly creating meaning from our experiences. The stories we tell ourselves — about who we are, what we’ve been through, and what things mean — guide what we pay attention to and influence how we feel, think, and act. Over time, these stories become the lens through which we see the world, influencing our relationships, our decisions, and the way we understand ourselves. In our work together, we will explore your self-narratives to understand how they’ve guided or protected you. We will take into account how culture and family dynamics have shaped your identity, values, and relationships. Together, we’ll reflect on how the past may be impacting your present, challenge unhelpful thoughts and beliefs, and identify practical steps toward meaningful change. From this place of understanding, we can begin healing by creating more compassionate and empowering ways of viewing yourself and your experiences.

Farah is an incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming therapist. I look forward to every session with her because she has helped me to do such meaningful work that has helped me greatly over the last few months. She is detail-oriented, personable, a great listener, and has been such a huge guide and positive presence in my life. She has taught me a lot and given me so much more language and vocabulary for my own thoughts, feelings, and patterns. I would recommend anyone to work with Farah who is looking to start therapy.
Farah is a wonderful therapist. She really is caring and patient. I felt like helping me work through my situation mattered to her.
My experience with Farah could not have been better! I was seen super quickly, and I felt very comfortable during my appointment. I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist!
Fadda was so patient with us. She was able to address the struggles of caring for a child from foster care and how to integrate the rest of the family to those challenges. Also I saw family members using the coping skills she taught us.
Farah is a great listener, compassionate, and provides appropriate therapeutic interventions. She also has solid experience. I highly recommend her.
I had a wonderful experience during my session with Farah. She has a very calm and welcoming presence that instantly made me feel comfortable opening up. She listens attentively without judgment and offers thoughtful, practical advice that feels tailored to my situation. For example, she helped me reframe a stressful situation into a learning opportunity, which really shifted my perspective. I left the session feeling lighter, understood, and motivated.
