During his career as an Assistant Professor at UVA, Dr. Hasan conducted NIH-funded clinical research and presented at national venues. In 2018, Dr. Hasan joined Allegheny Health Network (AHN) in Pittsburgh, PA, serving as the Associate Program Director of the Endocrinology Fellowship and the Co-director of the Pituitary Clinic. He left employment in 2024 to found CE&W. Dr. Hasan holds memberships with several medical societies including the American Medical Association, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and the Endocrine Society. His contributions to the field have been recognized with several peer-reviewed publications and awards, including the 2016 FLARE award from the Endocrine Society. Dr. Hasan is committed to medical education, having mentored numerous endocrine fellows, medical residents, and students throughout his career. Outside of medicine, Dr. Hasan enjoys swimming, biking, and hiking. He also likes to relax by watching a good movie with his wife, Baidaa. Dr. Hasan spends time on coaching patients on lifestyle and nutrition in additions to medications—when necessary— to prevent, reverse, and treat chronic disease, so patients can reduce their medications.
