About Dr. Faryal Siddiqui
Faryal Siddiqui, MD, FAAD is a Board-Certified Dermatologist serving La Jolla and the greater San Diego area. Dr Siddiqui grew up in San Antonio, Texas. She attended the University of Texas at Austin from which she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences, while earning an Honors distinction for her research investigating obesity’s effect on cancer. She completed her Medical Degree in her hometown at the Long School of Medicine, during which time she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honors Society for her compassionate care of her patients, community, and coworkers. Dr Siddiqui completed a highly-competitive transitional year internship at the University of Hawaii, and returned the University of Texas Health San Antonio campus for her Dermatology residency. She was proud to serve as Chief Resident during her final year.
Today, Dr Siddiqui has a wide scope of practice including medical dermatology such as autoimmune diseases and annual skin checks to eczema and acne; surgical dermatology including mole removals, cyst/lipoma excisions, as well as skin cancer treatments; cosmetic dermatology ranging from injectables to body contouring and lasers. Pediatric patients are welcome at our clinic. Dr Siddiqui’s patients appreciate the time she takes with each appointment, her accessibility for any concerns/questions, as well as her honesty.

Disconnect between what I heard from the doctor and what the staff told me when I made my appointment.
Staff said, "Yes we treat plantar warts". Doctor said she lacked the tools to treat warts on feet.

This dermatology office is very professional and friendly! Being a woman of color, I was pleased to see the diverse clientele as well as staff. Dr. Siddiqui is very knowledgeable and assessed my dermatological issue with a variety of remedies. Her staff was equally informative and kind. I highly recommend La Jolla Cosmetic Laser Clinic.

I visited for my yearly skin check. My experience was great. I was running late for my appointment, but was still seen promptly and didn’t feel rushed. I had a great experience the Doctor was very attentive and listened to all my concerns. After trying to get answers for over 8 months with my primary physician, only one visit with Dr. Siddiqui and she pushed for a biopsy so I we can get answers and treat my issue appropriately and promptly.

Fantastic treatment and professionalism. 10/10 recommend.
I had a small mole removed, during the process they were informative, reassuring and had great bedside manner.
I was in and out in 20 minutes tops and they made payment with insurance quick and easy.

Dr Siddiqui has been my dermatologist for 3 years and I would never go anywhere else. She does everything from my skin checks to my Botox and my laser treatments. She's honest and always keeps me looking my best. 10/10!!

Dr. Siddiqui may have saved my life. She insisted we test a brown spot on my face before any procedure was done for It. Turns out it was melanoma which was overlooked by my previous doctors (not affiliated)
in the past. She is very pleasant, and makes time to answers all my questions. She is competent and trustworthy, and puts her patients well being first. A true jewel to La Jolla??

After seeing several doctors for a skin condition, due to a third degree burn on my body. I was very pleased to have found Dr.Siddiqui. She and her staff were professional, kind and they made me feel comfortable during my visit. The entire experience was great! The best part is that her recommendation worked, and I am very happy with my results. I highly recommend her.
