Dr. Favor Osakwe is a doctorate-prepared (DNP) provider, having earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Texas, Arlington. She holds dual board certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Dr. Osakwe completed her Post-Master's Certificate in Family Nursing at South University and her Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing at the University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley. She also holds a Bachelor's degree from Wesley College.
With over 15 years of clinical experience, Dr. Osakwe is deeply passionate about helping individuals with mental health needs by delivering compassionate, high-quality care. She combines her in-patient and out-patient experience to create personalized treatment plans, always emphasizing holistic and individualized care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
My process begins with an initial consultation where I take the time to understand your specific concerns, medical history, and mental health goals. This helps me create a personalized and holistic treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. I believe in open communication, so we’ll work together to explore any challenges you’re facing and set realistic, achievable goals.
Once your treatment plan is in place, I provide ongoing support through regular follow-up appointments, whether in person or via telehealth. During each session, I reassess your progress, make any necessary adjustments to your care, and ensure that you feel heard and supported throughout the process. My goal is to foster a collaborative, therapeutic relationship where you feel empowered to manage your mental health.
I specialize in managing ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions, using both psychopharmacological and therapeutic approaches to help you live a more balanced, fulfilling life.
