Dr. Knoll was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and quick. She called my prescription in immediately and explained everything to me all in a timely manner. The only issue I had was waiting almost two hours after my appointment time to be seen. I've also had trouble scheduling the follow-up within the time she recommended since her schedule seems to fill up quickly.

Dr. Faye Knoll is on of SightMD's cornea and external disease specialists. She was born and raised on long island. After graduating high school as salutatorian, she went on to complete her undergraduate studies at SUNY Binghamton, where she majored in Biology and minored in Spanish. At Binghamton, she was elected into the Phi Beta Kappa Society and graduated Summa Cum Laude. While at Binghamton, she was granted early acceptance into medical school due to her impressive GPA and extracurricular activities. Following completion of her B.A., Dr. Knoll attended medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and graduated Cum Laude. It was in medical school where Dr. Knoll realized how exciting and interesting the field of ophthalmology was. It is the only area of medicine where you can see blood vessels and nerves without having to perform surgery. The elegant surgical procedures combined with the lifelong relationships eye doctors have with their patients further confirmed that ophthalmology was the career path for Dr. Knoll.
Dr. Knoll completed a transitional intern year at Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle, NY, followed by an ophthalmology residency at North Shore - Long Island Jewish Hospital in Manhasset, NY. During her final year of residency, she also served as chief resident in ophthalmology.
After completing her residency, Dr. Knoll completed a fellowship in cornea and external diseases of the eye at the renowned New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in New York City. Dr. Knoll has been active in ophthalmic research and has presented at multiple national meetings.

I had a very positive experience with all of the staff here. It was over an hour before I got to see Dr. Knoll, however, they were busy and I was still taken in quickly to get the process started of evaluating my eyes and then dilating them. All of the doctors were pleasant and I would highly recommend this office and Dr. Knoll.

Dr. Knoll was pleasant and reviewed my past records and current test results in the exam room with me. She answered my questions and addressed any issues I brought up. My visit was routine, a full eye exam and was handled pretty efficiently. I was moved from the 'big waiting room' to a 'smaller waiting room' as I proceded from test to test. My appt. was 3:30 I arrived about 10 mins early. I was brought into the back area around 3:45ish and when all was said and done I left about 4:55 pm. The office is clean, the front desk receptionist was pleasant and checked me in quickly. Note: I did fill out all the paper-work online ahead of my appt. to save time at the office through ZocDoc.com. All in all a good experience and Dr. knoll was pleasant, efficient and to the point. I was satisfied and felt good when I left. So yes, I would recommend Dr. Knoll.

Quick and easy! Chose not to have my pupils dilated as I just went in to have a general exam with really no specific issues. This was not a problem for them at all which I appreciated. Dr. Knoll is kind and thorough!

I just didn't leave feeling like she heard what I was saying and just don't feel secure with her diagnosis,She just say what she thought my symptoms should of been instead of listening to the facts i was trying to explain,like i have a rare autoimmune disease,am a new on set diabetic,a new new renal failure patient. in stead- i just just got told that eyes change as we age- Really? what a blow off.

pleasant- but part of reason i made appointment was I was having eye discharge-which she observed but was gone before i could ask if I needed a Rx, plus it was shortest eye exam-I think the tech flipped the lens twice at most,even though i complained of vision changes and had significant medical history,.other then to tell me I had no diabetic changes,no other medical issue were addressed that in the past had other doctors doing quite a comprehensive exam due to my medical issue,some which have direct relationship to my vision.

Dr. Knoll is absolutely one of the better eye doctors I've seen. I have been wearing glasses for all 21 years of my life and so I have been to see a lot of eye doctors & if Dr. Knoll I think I have found an eye doctor I can trust. She is nice caring and knows what she is talking about.
