About Dr. Felisa Lewis
Dr. Felisa Lewis has been practicing for more than 15 years as a board-certified Dermatologist. While brand new to ZocDoc, she has a large and loyal patient following from throughout DC, MD and VA. She is known for providing comprehensive and compassionate care for patients of all ages, while treating a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions.
A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Dr. Lewis completed her dermatology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Naval Medical Center in 2009. She served 26 years in the U.S. Army, including as Chief of Dermatology at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital and during a deployment to Iraq and Kuwait.
Dr. Lewis emphasizes patient education and collaboration in developing effective, personalized treatment plans. She is licensed in Maryland and Virginia and is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the Washington D.C. Dermatologic Society. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
