My approach is thorough, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. We begin by understanding you as a whole person, then continue with supportive monitoring and adjustments as needed.
Comprehensive Initial Evaluation, 45-60 Minutes
Our first visit focuses on understanding your mental health, physical health, lifestyle, and goals. We will review:
Current concerns, mental health history, and previous treatments.
Physical health, sleep, nutrition, and lifestyle factors.
Your goals for recovery, wellness, or harm reduction.
When applicable, substance use or recovery history in a compassionate, stigma-free setting.
Collaborative Treatment Planning
Together, we develop a treatment plan based on your needs and preferences. This may include:
Evidence-based medication management.
Integrative approaches, including lifestyle changes and supplements when appropriate.
Evaluation for advanced treatments such as TMS or Esketamine when clinically indicated.
Follow-Up and Medication Management, 20 to 30 Minutes
Follow-up visits focus on progress, medication response, side effects, and treatment adjustments.
Early Phase: Usually every 3 to 4 weeks when starting or adjusting treatment.
Maintenance Phase: Typically every 4 to 6 weeks or every 6 to 8 weeks once symptoms are stable and treatment goals are being maintained.
