“Dr. Femi was great. I know finding mental health therapy in East Tennessee can be imitimidating, to say the least. I waited 18 months to resume mental health treatment after moving from Texas, due to poor treatment by hospital staff at a certain hospital. After my anxiety and panic attacks became unmanageable and started effecting my life and family life, I took a chance on Dr. Femi. I can't imagine if I had waited. He is thorough, he is direct. He really wanted to get to the root of my issues, not treat me as a patient number. If you are struggling, reach out to this Man. He was immediately accessible, despite his heavy work load. He fit me in, and called in my medications the same night. I don't usually leave reviews. I am leaving this review because I feel I owe it to him, but more importantly, because I think it could help someone in crisis. Dr. Femi is someone who can help you. Give yourself a chance. A certified consultant to the U.S. Social Security Administration, Dr. Olarubofin is widely recognized for his expertise in mental health and disability evaluations, providing trusted clinical insight that shapes fair and evidence-based assessments. His visionary leadership was evident early in his career, he was part of the team that pioneered the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department at TrustPoint Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, expanding access to specialized care for young people and families.
Before founding Nolo Behavioral Healthcare, Dr. Olarubofin served with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for over seven years, where he progressed from psychiatric registered nurse to nurse leader on geriatric psychiatric, memory care, and long-term care units. His advocacy for trauma-informed practices led to significant improvements in patient dignity and safety-most notably his initiative ensuring Military Sexual Trauma (MST) veterans receive private-room accommodations to promote healing and respect.
Dr. Olarubofin also brought his expertise to Mercy Community Healthcare in Franklin, Tennessee, where his commitment to inclusion and equity helped increase minority patient representation from 2.6% to 6.8% within one year.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Dr. Femi is amazing! I’ve never felt so comfortable immediately with any other Dr. He followed up with me after hours to ensure I received my medications. When I had an issue at the pharmacy, I sent a text. He responded immediately and resolved my issue. This is unheard of these days with any Dr.

He is very solution oriented, and I feel like he is going to help me to move out of this dark place.
