Ferdinand “Freddy” Akoko is a Board-Certified Psychiatry and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Arkansas State University. Freddy has over 13 years of combined experience treating patients in various settings, including urgent care, inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, home health services, and utilization review for health insurance companies. His love for mental health began at 17 while working for Veterans Affairs. Freddy believes in an integrative treatment plan. Never sent me information on how to join the appointment. Called the office multiple time and was sent to voicemail every time. The voicemail box was full so I couldn't leave my information or explain why I was calling. Worst "appointment" I've ever had on ZocDoc.

This doctor is excellent! He has great communication skills and stays on top of getting prescriptions out in a timely manner. I'm definitely gonna keep him for my psychiatry and opioid addiction treatment. I highly recommend him!!
