His clinical interests include early childhood attachment and trauma, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum disorders. Dr. Mendez believes that education and communication are key to reducing stigma around mental health.

What should a new client know about working with you?

At Red Rock Neuropsychiatry, we believe that accurate diagnosis is the foundation of effective treatment. Initial consultations and follow-up visits are designed to provide thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care in an unhurried setting. Comprehensive ADHD and Autism evaluations are separate services and are priced individually based on the complexity of the assessment. Unlike a standard office visit, these evaluations require extensive clinical interviewing, review of developmental and educational history, administration and interpretation of specialized testing measures, collateral information when available, and the preparation of a detailed diagnostic report with personalized recommendations. These evaluations often involve several hours of physician time both during and outside of appointments and are designed to provide the level of diagnostic clarity that cannot be achieved through a routine psychiatric visit. Specific pricing for ADHD and Autism evaluations is available upon request.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

At Red Rock Neuropsychiatry, we take a highly personalized and comprehensive approach to care. Every patient begins with an in-depth psychiatric evaluation designed to understand not only current symptoms, but also developmental history, life experiences, strengths, and goals. Depending on the reason for referral, this may include a detailed clinical interview, review of records, collateral information from family members, and objective testing when appropriate. Unlike high-volume practices, our boutique model allows for extended appointments and individualized attention. We intentionally limit the size of our practice so that each patient receives the time, expertise, and thoughtful consideration they deserve. For patients seeking ADHD or Autism evaluations, we utilize specialized assessment tools, structured diagnostic interviews, and comprehensive report writing to provide meaningful diagnostic clarity and personalized recommendations. Treatment plans are tailored to each individual and may include medication management, advanced TMS protocols, behavioral interventions, educational or workplace accommodations, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Our goal is simple: to provide an exceptional level of diagnostic expertise, personalized care, and ongoing support that is increasingly difficult to find in today's healthcare environment.
