Hello, my name is Festus Obonna, DNP MBA MSN PMHNP-BC RN. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I provide compassionate, holistic mental health care in both outpatient and tele-psychiatry settings. I specialize in psychiatric medication management and work closely with each client to restore balance, support emotional well-being, and help them reach their personal goals. My care blends evidence-based treatment with a human-centered approach to improve overall quality of life.
If you are overwhelmed; dealing with depression, anxiety, panic episodes, PTSD, bipolar or personality disorder, or mood disorder, I am here to help. Let's work together.
Please note: I treat ADHD with non stimulant medications. I do not prescribe Stimulants.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am empathetic and professionally driven, paying close attention to your unique needs in terms of mental health to assist you in overcoming challenges and achieving mental well-being. I provide Medication management and Psychotherapy.
To provide the best care for my clients, I also work in conjunction with other Licensed and experienced therapists and service providers
What is your typical process for working with clients?
You will receive a complete evaluation that will help with identifying the proper diagnosis during the first psychiatric appointment. You will participate in the decision-making and planning of your care as we go over the available treatment alternatives.
After every session, you will feel and know that you have been welcomed, listened to, heard and, cared for in a conducive environment, with a proper evidence-based treatment plan developed with you, that push toward your recovery

Festus is great! He is very personable and easy to talk to. He takes into consideration your concerns when he is prescribing medications. He also is very good at explaining the medications in a way that is easy to understand so you know why he is prescribing them to you.
