She was born and raised in New York, where she attended Hofstra University and earned her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Physician Assistant Studies in 2012. She started volunteering at the local hospital in 2002, where she developed her love and passion for practicing medicine and became inspired to become a Physician Assistant. Fizzah was also awarded the Winthrop University Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship and The Margaret Healy Award in 2007 for her volunteer efforts. She began her career in Family Practice in New York, and has since, been dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care. She focused on Women’s Health, management of Chronic Medical Conditions and worked closely with Weight Management Specialists. She moved to Arizona and joined an Internal Medicine Practice in 2016. She developed a passion for working with patients and accommodating their opinions, beliefs, and goals while developing patient care plans that patients are comfortable with and feel are sustainable. She is committed to advocating for her patients and providing them with the best care she can. Fizzah began her Urgent Care career in 2018 at FastMed, until she joined the AlphaMed team in 2023. She enjoys learning new skills and finding new ways to help her patients. She loves working with all the amazing and dedicated team members at AlphaMed in such a supportive environment. She returned from Maternity leave in January of 2024, after having her third son, and is excited to start providing Primary Care services at AlphaMed. She is passionate about providing compassionate healthcare and helping her patients and looks forward to caring for you and your family Outside of work, Fizzah is a mother to 3 sweet and adorable boys, who she loves spending time with along with her husband and sassy cat. .Fizzah also enjoys traveling and crafts!
