I am a Psychiatric/Mental Health & Family Nurse Practitioner licensed in the State of Arizona. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. I evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of psychiatric conditions. I use a holistic approach—addressing both body and mind—to target your symptoms; together, we make a plan best suited for your condition. I understand that mental illness remains a taboo for many, and I believe in treating individuals, not their diagnoses. I offer telepsychiatry in the comfort of your home or car if you have reliable internet. I also provide late hours and weekend appointments for your convenience.
I offer affordable and quality psychiatric care. I will diagnose, prescribe (when necessary), and manage your medications to target your specific symptoms. I also offer psychotherapy when appropriate. I use a variety of approaches to restore your mental wellness. What should a new client know about working with you?
I am a Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner with more that 15 years of nursing in a variety of specialties and settings. I have worked with all age groups. I believe in making my patient a part of the team for a manageable and agreed-upon treatment. I use psychotherapy, prescription medications and stress management tools for optimal wellness.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Introduction, familiarization, and making patients at ease. Helping them open-up to disclose information and reassure them their information will be kept confidential unless they decide to disclose.

I had an appointment at 915 i arrived 10 mins early. at 9:25 i felt as if the provider wasn’t going to show up so i called and left a voicemail to cancel that i would look for a new provider.
she proceeded to call me 6 times back to back. she said she had technical difficulties which is fine, but I received nothing till i asked to cancel. which she then took the most unprofessional route of calling me back to back 6 times.
I just don’t believe that’s how i would start a therapeutic relationship. i will be keeping an eye of my insurance for any charges since this was her mishap not mine. I hope for the future she is more prepared or communicative before the appointment not after
