I have been in the medical profession for over 15 years. I started as a Medical Assistant and then transitioned into Nursing, where I have spent the majority of my time working as an Oncology Nurse at the University of Miami Sylvester Cancer Center. While I have enjoyed growing in my profession, mental health has always been my passion. In 2011, I decided to go back to school to obtain my Master's in Nursing from Chamberlain University and my certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through Maryville University. This education has enabled me to care for my patients with a holistic approach to health. I also hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of Miami and an Associate's degree from Miami Dade College.
