What should a new client know about working with you?
I believe meaningful treatment begins with feeling heard. My first priority is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you can speak openly about what you are experiencing without fear of judgment. I take time to understand your history, symptoms, strengths, challenges, and personal goals.
From there we work together to identify the areas that need attention and create a treatment plan that is realistic and individualized to you. I believe there is no single approach that works for everyone, which is why I take your preferences, experiences, and overall well-being into consideration.
Our work continues beyond the initial appointment. Through regular follow-ups, we monitor your progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, address concerns, and adjust the plan as needed. My goal is not simply to manage symptoms, but to help you develop a better understanding of your mental health and feel more confident moving forward.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
My process begins with listening and getting to know you as a whole person. During the initial appointment, I conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, review your medical and mental health history, discuss your current concerns and symptoms, and identify your treatment goals.
Together we develop an individualized treatment plan based on your needs, preferences, and clinical presentation. Treatment may include medication management, psychoeducation, lifestyle recommendations, and practical strategies to support your mental wellness.
During follow-up appointments, we evaluate your progress, discuss how you are responding to treatment, address any concerns or changes in symptoms, and make adjustments when clinically appropriate. I believe in collaborative and transparent care, so you will always have an opportunity to ask questions and participate in decisions about your treatment.
My goal is to provide consistent support and help you achieve meaningful, sustainable improvements in your mental health and quality of life.
