Forrest Yorgason, PA-C

Physician Assistant (Psychiatry)
672 W 400 S, Ste 201, Springville, UT
My journey to becoming a PA has been deeply shaped by my time working in an assisted living facility as a memory care director, a role in which I developed a strong commitment to working with dementia patients. I have a passion for patient-centered care, which continues to guide my work today. In my personal life, I seek adventure in the outdoors and find fulfillment in sharing these experiences with my family. My love for outdoor activities includes hiking, camping, hunting, and a wide range of sports, though I have a special interest in disc golf. More recently, I have discovered a love for regular golf, enjoying the challenge, technique and focus it requires. I primarily grew up in Utah but also spent a few years in California in during my early childhood. I am also a devoted husband and proud father of three children. My blend of professional dedication and personal interests reflects in my commitment to continuous growth and balanced living, both in my career and life outside of work. Please note: I am accepting new patients for ongoing medication management support. I do not provide therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

After earning my undergraduate degree from Utah Valley University in Orem, I pursued a Master's of Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, graduating in 2022. I am particularly interested in working within mental health, motivated by personal experiences and seeing the profound impact of mental health on friends and family. I understand how crucial compassionate, dedicated care can be and I'm eager to make a difference in this field, contributing to patients' well-being and recovery.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I start with a thorough evaluation to understand your history, current challenges, and priorities. Together, we create a personalized plan that may include medication management, therapy referrals, or lifestyle strategies to strengthen overall wellness. I check in regularly with patients, adjusting treatment as needed, and strive to create a safe and empathetic space where you feel comfortable working through challenges and moving toward lasting change.

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment. You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292). During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
