Frances Staley, MA

Dietitian
MI
Hi there — I'm Darlene Staley, a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) and National Board Certified-Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). My own chronic pain journey and unanswered questions led me to the functional and integrative healing space, and I'm now dedicated to helping others find their own path to lasting health. As a compassionate and non-judgmental healthcare provider, I've seen firsthand how chronic pain, gut health issues, and hormonal imbalances can impact women's lives. That's why my work focuses on empowering women to take control of their well-being, particularly those in midlife to seniors who've tried everything and still don't feel like themselves. Together, we'll work on increasing energy, improving gut health, balancing blood sugar and hormones, reducing inflammation and pain, and developing a healthier, more balanced relationship with food. My approach is all about whole-person care. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all plans or just treating symptoms. Instead, we'll create a personalized wellness plan that you actually want to implement – one that's achievable, sustainable, and addresses the root cause of your concerns. We'll explore how food, lifestyle habits (like sleep, stress, and movement), and mindset all impact your health, and work together to heal your relationship with food. It's a journey, not a quick fix. When you work with me, you can expect realistic, sustainable nutrition and lifestyle habits, measurable improvements in your energy, gut health, blood sugar, hormones, and more. You'll gain a clearer understanding of how food and lifestyle directly impact your health, and develop a sense of balance in your eating behaviors and overall life. I'm proud to be a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and hold a Master's in Clinical Nutrition from Notre Dame of Maryland University (NDMU).
