“Everything went well. I called ahead to let them know I was in the area and if I could go in early. They said yes, to stop by and they would try to fit me in. I went in and the receptionist said hi. I filled out my new patient paperwork on the iPad they had and waited maybe ten minutes before they called me back. I was there for a routine skin exam with emphasis on looking for cancer or skin damage. I also wanted some cosmetic issues looked at. She examined me and all went well. She was great, listened to my concerns, and provided me options. No pressure was put on me to do anything or buy anything. We finished and they gave me a follow appointment to do a few cosmetic procedures. I felt very comfortable the whole time. I definitely recommend her and the clinic. All the ladies there were professional and helpful.”

About Francesca Raedel
Francesca Raedel, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Mandel Dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign before completing her Master of Science in Nursing at DePaul University in Chicago, IL. Over the years, she has cared for patients in medical-surgical, telemetry, oncology, pediatrics, and long-term care settings—experiences that shaped her strong clinical foundation and her commitment to supporting patients through every stage of life. Francesca later earned her Family Nurse Practitioner certificate at DePaul and completed postgraduate training in dermatology, where she found her passion for skin health.
At Mandel, Francesca provides comprehensive, patient-centered dermatologic care. She treats conditions across the lifespan, including skin cancer prevention and treatment, acne, rashes, hair loss, and chronic skin conditions. Patients are welcome to come see her for any of their dermatology needs. Francesca is dedicated to building lasting relationships and takes pride in empowering her patients to feel confident, comfortable, and informed about their skin health.
Outside of the office, Francesca loves spending time outdoors, especially exploring the Rocky Mountains. She also enjoys rockhounding, antique hunting, gardening, and sharing adventures with her boyfriend, Nick, and their dog, Winston—affectionately known as Chunk.

Francesca offered a quality of care that is so rare to find in Boulder, especially in dermatology - strong interpersonal skills and ability to hold space for my insecurity around my skin issues. Great for LGBTQ patients as well. Recommend!
