About Dr. Francis Casper
Dr. Francis A. Casper, Jr., M.D. was born and raised in the Chicago area. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He attended the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical School, from which he graduated with honors, and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Society.
Dr. Casper completed Residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Illinois that included rotations through Children’s Memorial Hospital, Cook County Hospital, Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center, St. Joseph’s Hospital, University of Illinois Hospital and Medical Center Eye and Ear Infirmary, and the West Side Veteran’s Hospital.
Dr. Casper is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. He is on staff at hospitals including Lutheran General Hospital, Rush North Shore Medical Center, NorthShore University HealthSystems Hospitals, including Highland Park Hospital, Northwestern Lake Forest Grayslake Surgery Center, and the Golf Surgical Center.
Dr. Casper cares for ear, nose, and throat disorders in children and adults, including disorders of the ear and hearing, treatment of sleep apnea and snoring, the medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the throat and neck, and has special interest in the treatment of disorders of the nose and paranasal sinuses.
