“dr. don was tremendous, and so was his assistant karina...i would highly recommend dr. don. but i had an awful experience with his office. the people who run his office know nothing about patient relations...their method of scheduling is ridiculous. let me explain... first, i called to schedule an appointment because i had an inflamed skin condition. i was told by a human on the phone that dr dons next opening was june 17. flabbergasted, i went to his zoc doc page and wouldnt you know it, he had several slots open for today, june 5. so yesterday, i booked an appt for 1p, and got a confirmation via email. so the human at his office tried to put me off when there were in fact slots available. this morning i got a voicemail asking me to come early since dr don was leaving before my 1p appointment. so, i called the office, spoke to a human, whom i told i was coming right over. i arrived at about 9:30a. when i arrived, the receptionist told me i did not have an appointment. her affect was blank, she said almost nothing, even though i said that there must be some mistake. she kept typing on her computer without even acknowledging me. finally, i said "have you found me? do i exist?" and again she ignored me. admittedly, i got a bit hot, and told her sternly that i didnt appreciate being told that i did not have an appointment and that i had an email from a human in the office confirming same!!! had she tried to empathize, even a bit, i would have calmed right down. there was no "sorry sir, hang with me, we will straighten this out." just silence while she pounded her keyboard. then, another woman in the office wearing gray scrubs intervened, telling me i was being rude and that i can go to another doctor if i didnt like the way i was treated. i told her we would have to "agree to disagree," that my anger was completely justified and appropriate. finally, i was told to sit down, and that was that. my appointment with dr don and karina was flawless. i can take responsibility for raising my voice, because yes, i was steamed! i had a confirmed appointment and a voice mail to prove it yet i was being treated as if i did not exist. i have two recommendations: 1. the satellite scheduling office should actually communicate with the doctors office so the left hand knows what the right is doing. 2. someone must have an in service and teach the front office people about reflective listening and empathic response, two things so easy and so effective in helping patients like me feel we are important. it ain´t rocket science. just treat the patients like warm blooded humans, not nuisances. thank you.”

The doctor that I was assigned to only really spoke with me for about 2 minutes. Barely examined me and then prescribed me expensive medication. When I would call back for an alternative I was always sent to the nurse’s voicemail and never received a call back. I went back to my old dermatologist office and I’m kinda mad I even tried to switch.

Worst doctor that I have ever been to. I would not recommend him to anybody. I went to see a dermatologist for several reasons and he did not even examine me. I went for some keloids I have in my back and he only injected me with steroids while I actually asked for him to remove the largest one. I also asked about the possibility to remove an ingrown hair that I have in my leg and he and his assistant and a medical student left the room without saying anything. After 5 minutes the doctor came back (I was still wearing my pants) and he said that he didnt know why I wasnt wearing the gown...which they neve providide me with. I told him that he could stay and that I was going to remove my pants in front of him and he stayed...examine my leg and told me that there is nothing to do about it. While I was still naked, he decided to leave the room and opened the door without caring about me and me being with no clothes so I told him that I was still naked and he left the room and closed the door behind him. After he left, I told his assistant to call him because I wanted him to prescribe me some medication for my acne (chin area) so she went to bring him back to the room. He prescribed me 2 medications and I asked him again to check a wound I have inside my nose. I opened my nostril with my fingers and he used the flashlight from his phone to see inside of it. There was also a medical student in the room in the first 3rd of my appointment and he was not introduced by anybody. I had to introduce myself and asked his name. He seemed to be lost with Dr. Don's careless attitude towards the patient. Last thing, Dr. Don's clothes were dirty and his white coat was actually brown. Not going back to see this doctor.

The doctors office never called me to let me know that the doctor does not take my insurance but nevertheless the consultation was not expensive and still got to see the doctor he is amazing and I would pay again to see him no matter if he would take my insurance just the bed side manner and the time he takes with the patient its worth every penny and the dedication unbelievable I give Dr. Don a 100 stars.

Doctor was great but the staff is complete Gaabaage; terrible at picking up the phones and terrible attitude towards customers. They seem unprepared.

Dr. Frank Don was great! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed his presence and great attitude. He was fast and efficient but did not make us feel rushed. The staff at the medical office, on the other hand, was unsatisfactory. In particular, the main assistant checking everyone in. I did not get her name but she had long black hair. She was rude and not friendly. She seemed to be overwhelmed with the volume of patients and did not handle it well. Additionally, she liked to call people cutesy names like "love, babe, mi Amor...." This made me feel uncomfortable. We will only come back because we REALLY liked.Dr. Don.
He got to the point but wasn’t trying to rush me out, answered any questions I had and even threw in an addict or two. Great guy.

Dr. Don was polite and his bedside manner was impeccable. He looked like he truly enjoyed what he does for a living, and it shows when your passions are aligned with your calling/vocation. When looking into the reason for my visit Dr. Don was very thorough and took his time examining before diagnosing. I appreciated this being that he wanted to get the treatment right the first time. I would highly recommend Dr. Don to my friends, family, and all.
Verified patient
It was pleasant. Dr. Don was very informative.
Dr. Frank was great he took his time explaining my options and what we are going to try before moving to something more aggressive.
