Fred Moline, PMHNP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
NY
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Walden University, specializing in resilience, I have extensive experience helping individuals with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and psychosis navigate their challenges. In addition to exploring alternative outlets for emotional expression and coping strategies, I am well-versed in integrating medication treatment into comprehensive care plans. Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, I work closely with clients to assess the appropriateness and effectiveness of medication interventions. I ensure that clients have a thorough understanding of their prescribed medications, including potential benefits and side effects. By providing psychoeducation and ongoing monitoring, I empower clients to make informed decisions about their medication treatment. I firmly believe in a holistic and personalized approach to mental health, where medication is viewed as one tool in a comprehensive treatment plan. By combining medication management with alternative outlets for emotional expression and resilience-building strategies, we can optimize outcomes and support individuals in their journey toward improved well-being. Regular communication and collaboration with the client’s healthcare team are essential to ensure integrated and holistic care throughout the treatment process.

What should a new client know about working with you?

After the first therapy session, my patient is likely to take away a few key things. Firstly, they may have a greater sense of relief and validation, having shared their struggles in a safe and non-judgmental space. This initial connection with the therapist can provide a foundation of trust and support. Secondly, they may have gained insight into their experiences, as the therapist would have asked relevant questions and actively listened to their concerns. This newfound understanding can help them make sense of their emotions and behaviors. Lastly, they may have begun to explore potential treatment strategies or coping techniques discussed during the session, giving them a sense of hope and a starting point for their journey toward healing and well-being. Overall, the first session can leave my patient feeling heard, understood, and motivated to continue their therapeutic process.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
