Dr. Kahn is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and is a member of the AMA and NJSAM (New Jersey Society of Addiction Medicine). He also is a certified psychoanalyst, having completed his training at the William Alanson White Institute for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in 1989. Dr. Kahn has worked in variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, partial hospital, and inpatient rehabilitation settings. He received a DATA 2000 waiver for the use of Buprenorphine in treatment by SAMHSA in 2009. Dr. Kahn has practiced in New Jersey since 1990 and has been chosen as a Top Doctor in Bergen County by Bergen Magazine.
