About Dr. Frederick Kaskel
Frederick Kaskel is a dedicated and diligent pediatric nephrologist caring for the Hartsdale, NY community. Dr. Kaskel attended the University of Cincinnati, where he received his medical degree. He completed his residency at Montefiore Medical Center and fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University.
Dr. Kaskel is a part of Pediatric Nephrology - Montefiore Faculty Practice Group. He is board certified in pediatric nephrology by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Kaskel’s medical experience is vast and impressive. His areas of special interest include kidney disorders in infants, children, and adolescents and end-stage kidney replacement therapy and transplantation.
Dr. Kaskel was previously the president of the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology. He has served as chair for the council of nephrology and urology of the National Kidney Foundation and the Kidney and Urology Foundation of America. He has also served on the cardiovascular renal advisory panel of the Food and Drug Administration. Dr. Kaskel has been named one of the best doctors in America and New York and as a super doctor by New York Times magazine.
