Dr. Frederick Walker, DO

Psychiatrist
11405 Park Rd, Ste 220, Louisville, KY
Hello, my name is Dr. F. Allen Walker, and I have been working with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) for over 20 years. I was diagnosed with ADHD at 25, and with support from my family, I turned my challenges into success. I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from A.T. Still University | Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed my residency in Psychiatry at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. In July 2005, I opened a private psychiatric practice in Louisville, KY, to help people with ADHD and related issues like anxiety and depression. I noticed that many individuals and families struggled with ADHD and often had questions but limited resources. This made things harder for them. They were unsure about what to do and worried about making mistakes, which added to their stress. I found it difficult for them to get reliable information. ADHD can affect families in many ways, causing issues with self-control, self-esteem, and behavior, which can lead to stress at home. If ADHD is not treated properly, it can waste time, energy, and money. Many people struggle to find effective solutions in traditional medicine and often seek unproven alternatives. How can they find what really works? Is it possible to combine traditional and alternative treatments for the best results? I thought, “What if I could create a simple and personalized treatment plan for ADHD?” I believe I have achieved this with my practice.
