“Gabriel always listens to my concerns very thoroughly, and takes his time answering and addressing each of my questions. The appointments never feel rushed, and at each visit we review how my medications seem to be working so we can make adjustments if needed. We also have close follow up after each medication adjustment to ensure the change is beneficial and not causing negative side effects. I have had occasional issues with pharmacies not stocking my medications, and Gabriel and his team respond right away if I need the prescriptions routed to a different pharmacy. I’m very grateful to be under his care!”

This doctor prescribed me medicine that was unfit for my diagnosis . I had to go to another doctor for them to tell me what was prescribed was dangerous for me . He was doing more of an evaluation rather than listening and trying to push medication. Additionally I was billed compeletely incorrect . I do not recommend this doctor.

I’ve been skeptical of meeting with a doctor virtually for mental health. I felt very at ease with Obu N.P. He definitely shows he was listening and that he cared about his work and his patients.

Easy intake process. Intake forms are filled out and submitted electronically which is much appreciated. Mr. Obu comes off so far as a no non sense professional. We wasted no time during my first (and only so far) appointment and dove straight into why I was seeking therapy. Great experience so far.

Provider was knowledgeable in what he is doing. I have been having issues with my mental health for several years, couple of several diagnoses and treatments which didn't work. This provider introduced different treatment plan with full explanations. Within 3 weeks into the treatment, I have been feeling much stable and happier. I will definitely recommend him.

doctor was very nice. just wish he had read my chart/ reason for being seen/ medical history prior to the appointment because it ended up being read aloud for the first 20 minutes. so i guess i felt like he didn’t really prepare/ care to do so. i also received meds immediately which may be good for some but i wanted to explore other options as well as wait till at least the next appointment. overall those two things were my only issue.

Dr. Obu has been a great psychiatrist for me. He is very timely and our sessions are thorough. He takes into consideration my activity and my primary care doctor's opinion and does more to help me change my habits and lifestyle than just prescribing medications. He is very kind and encourages me to celebrate the small successes. I've had a great experience working with him so far and look forward to our future sessions together. I highly recommend him as a mental health professional.
